Hollowcore Floors
Hollowcore flooring is used in more than 60% of building applications throughout Europe, however it remains an under utilised product in Ireland. Not only does it combine the structural strength of reinforced concrete, it also has excellent fire proofing and sound proofing qualities, making it very desirable with the construction industry. The product is primarily used in multi storey construction but can also be used to reduce costly excavations for ground floors, providing an immediate dry platform and reducing the need for costly infill material. The hollowcore is made in stock length’s of 50mm increments and various reinforcements patterns are available from stock to facilitate different loading requirement.
